Lenny Liver

This is the cancer dinosaur, his name is Terrill Tyrannosaurus the Tyrant.

Captain Chemo - One of our heroes!

Lenny Liver lives above your belly button (naval) and on the right. Lenny is very busy all of the time and does all sorts of stuff for us. He helps you use your food to grow, breaks down chemicals (he is an amazing chemist), makes a chemical to help you clot your blood when you cut yourself, stores vitamins and even helps destroy bacteria (germs) in the blood. He is really impressive!

It's not common for Terrill to attack Lenny as the first thing he attacks but when he does, Terrill is called hepatoblastoma (another big word). Of all the different body parts Terrill attacks, less than one or two out of every 100 attacks are in the liver. If Terril does attack the liver surgery and Captain Chemo are used to fight him!

Lenny also helps break down Captain Chemo after he has done his job so your body can get rid of what is left.
